This year Dante Group sponsored their Subcontractor Stephen Freeman and helped him fulfil a lifetime goal.

After not competing in Athletics for 2 decades, the 49 year old decided to enter himself into a 400m veterans race at Leigh Sports Pavilion.

On completing the race Stephen found out that he had achieved the qualifying time for the Masters Athletics Championships in Perth, Australia taking place in November 2016.

He approached Dante to help him with sponsorship of which we happily obliged.

In October 2016 Stephen attended Perth, Australia, and achieved seventh place in the world Masters 400m Hurdles final in the 45-49 years age group.

His 7th place finish has now gained him entry into the World Indoor Athletics Championships in Korea 2017.
